American Shelter

Back in February I spent a week in Vermont, in the US.

We went to Goodwill and I found an old film camera for sale, I decided not to buy it, but instead I took the unused roll of film that was still inside it, that the previous owner had probably forgotten to take out.

So I stuck it into my own film camera.

And I went on a lot of walks, and took a lot photos of the American houses around the country side, the ones that were run down, renovated, forgotten, for rent, for sale, brand new. And I put together this collection of photos.

A photo collection of American homes taken on expired film.

The colors are original, nothing’s been edited.

The guy at the photo store told me he was sorry, there was nothing he could do, the film was ruined. But I thanked him, told him they had turned out beautiful.
